Bags lovers of all ages came out to the 2nd annual Champaign-Urbana Bags Tournament Sept. 26 at Neil and Clark in downtown Champaign. Proceeds from the event went to benefit the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club.

More than a hundred dog owners, rescue volunteers and vendors from across the United States attended the 13th annual Midwest Dachshund Festival Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Vermilion County Fairgrounds.

The Amish Country Cheese Festival took place over the 2009 Labor Day weekend in downtown Arthur. The three-day event offered food, games, entertainment and plenty of free cheese. Monday's festivities kicked off with the Rat Race 5K run and walk, which was followed by a parade through the heart of the festival.
