Woman, child injured in single-car accident near Philo

PHILO – Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash south of Philo on Tuesday afternoon.
According to an Illinois State Police report, Krystal Vollmer, 35, who listed an address in Longview, was driving a gray 2006 Ford Freestar south on Illinois 130 just south of County Road 800N when she fell asleep at the wheel.
