Rantoul girl, 5, hurt when struck by car aimed at another

URBANA – A Rantoul child who got in the way of a woman apparently intent on hitting another woman with her car was hospitalized Wednesday with a broken hip and upper leg.
Tania Evans, 28, of the 1600 block of Keesler Drive, was charged Wednesday in Champaign County Circuit Court with reckless driving, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and driving under suspension.
