Employees say they'll wait, see on closings

RANTOUL – Tim Collings of Rantoul said he was surprised when he and fellow employees at Collins & Aikman received letters saying the company's three Rantoul plants could close in 60 days.
"I was absolutely concerned they were going to shut the doors when we got that letter," said Collings, who has worked in the molding department for 22 years.
