Savoy residents have concerns about rezoning plan
SAVOY – Village board members on Wednesday discussed a recent decision by the Savoy Planning Commission – prompted by residents' concerns – to delay recommending the rezoning and annexation of property surrounding Curtis Road.
Village officials said residents from both Savoy and Champaign had voiced concerns about the proposed rezoning plan at the planning commission meeting last week. Planning commissioners also raised questions concerning some of the conditions embedded in the annexation agreement.
