Prospect Avenue interchange reopens after spill cleared
CHAMPAIGN – The Interstate 74-Prospect Avenue interchange reopened just after 7 p.m. Wednesday following a chemical spill earlier that blocked the northbound side of the road.
About 4 p.m. Wednesday, a tank of asphalt sealant fell from a truck in the northbound lanes on the Prospect overpass over I-74.
