Douglas Counthy sheriff warns of 'aggressive' telephone scam

Douglas County Sheriff Charlie McGrew is warning county residents about a phone scam in the area.

In the "particularly aggressive scam," a caller identifies himself as a U.S. Customs employee and tells his potential victim that he or she won the Canadian Sweepstakes and failed to claim the winnings, a sheriff's office press release reports.
