Village Wardrobe ready for events on opening weekend
HOMER – Village Wardrobe, the children's and maternity consignment boutique in town, is doing better than projected, co-owner Kate Boyer said.
"The goal was six months to break even, but we're almost there now. We've signed up 67 consigners in eight weeks of business; we average 10-15 customers per day; and we've grown about 10 percent per week," Boyer said. "We're hoping to double our customer base in the next three months, now that people are thinking about going back to school."
