Mahomet board rescinds contract for lot
MAHOMET – Residents of East Pin Oak Drive and surrounding streets can rest easy knowing that Lot 3 of Pin Oak First Subdivision will not be rezoned to a multiple-family district.
The village board voted 5-0 at its Tuesday study session to rescind the sale contract for 902 E. Pin Oak Drive. If the board approves the rescission at its March 25 meeting, the village will return the buyer's earnest money and retain ownership of the property.
