Mail survives blaze that gutted Broadlands post office
BROADLANDS – A fire Saturday evening destroyed the interior of the Broadlands post office on East Diller Street.
Fire Chief Shawn Walker said firefighters gained control of the blaze by about 5:20 p.m., 30 minutes after they were dispatched. He said firefighters remained on the scene until about 10 p.m.
