With recent thefts, police remind to watch belongings
In the wake of recent thefts involving unattended property, University of Illinois police are reminding people to protect their belongings.
UI police Lt. Roy Acree said, "It's getting that time of year again when students are becoming preoccupied with finishing up projects and final exams. They need to remember not to leave their personal belongings alone, especially high-priced electronic items, such as laptops, cell phones and iPods."
