Free poetry, film on tap this weekend
URBANA – Two free events are taking place this weekend at the Urbana Free Library.
At 4 p.m. today the Teen Film Crew will present the "Twin City Horror Movie Premiere" in the Lewis Auditorium of the library at 210 W. Green St., U.
For seven weeks, the Teen Film Crew at the library became writers, directors, actors and editors of their own horror film shorts. That event is free and open to the public.
From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Urbana poet Matt Murrey will read his work in the program "Pardon the Turkey: Poems of Gratitude...with an Edge," also in the auditorium.
