Rantoul man accused of having sex with 14-year-old friend

URBANA – A Rantoul man accused of having sex with a teenage friend is due back in court next month.

Irshell Rife, 22, of the 1500 block of Hobson Drive, was charged Tuesday in Champaign County Circuit Court with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, accusing him of having sex with a 14-year-old Mahomet girl at his Rantoul home on June 13.
