From Nov. 2, 2009 to Feb. 2, 2010, the Asian American Cultural Center, 1210 W. Nevada St., is showcasing a selected collection of photographs created as an artistic response to an individual who erroneously considered the idea of a Midwestern Asian American identity as nonexistent. "commUNITY" serves as an artistic platform that dispels disempowering stereotypes and exposes the reality of Asian American experiences. Exhibit hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.For more information:
